Stone Spelling is another way to make Mood Magic—my way of naming the practice of using crystals and words to guide energy where I choose. I'm manifesting the word into everyday language, wishing for it to become so familiar it one day earns a place in dictionaries.

Wanna Place a Call to the Cosmos?

Crystal grids place a call to the cosmos using stones and sacred geometry (shapes that hold cosmic significance) as messengers. Each crystal's frequency joins with others in a sacred geometric pattern called a grid to broadcast intentions, wishes, and wants.

Flower of Life is a favorite grid. The roundness and overlapping circles whisper balance and interconnectedness.

My instructor said look for circles in nature, and you'll soon find them everywhere. She was right—the moon, the sun, tree rings, nests, the human head. The symbolism endures—wedding rings, crowns, clocks, sundials, buttons, coins, wheels.

The ways to set a grid are infinite. At its most basic:

  • Write the intention and place it at the center of the grid.

  • Place a center stone on top of the intention.

  • Place other stones around the grid.

  • With feeling, connect the other stones to the center stone using a crystal wand (or a stick or index finger).

  • Open to the magic.

Circles remind us that everything is connected. Set the grid, place a call out to the cosmos, and welcome magic back in.

Titty Bitty™ and Nutty Buddy™ —playful names for the stones we tuck close to the tatas and near to the nuts.

Try it, and see if you feel a bit more vibey goodness when you call these cheeky stones by name. Tuck ‘em close like a talisman to help you stay true to the mood that you choose. It’s a fun, simple, helpful something we do every day in my house. :)

Respect the craft. These names can be enjoyed personally, but for commercial use, written permission is required.

The next Titty Bitty™ and Nutty Buddy™ Stone Spell kits are the Sweet Otter Trio, available in the shop in Spring 2026. It comes with bitties and buddies curated for helping your energy flow and move in helpful ways. Comes with a Stone Spell and guide on how to work the magic.

How do we get the dictionary people to add Stone Spelling and Stone Spell to dictionaries?

We share and speak the words so much that they become common usage.

Stone Spelling and Stone Spell don’t have Google’s reach (Google got into dictionaries within 5 years of first use) but the journey has begun—and everyone can help make the magic happen!
